Covalent Lithium Environmental Review Document Published

Globe Environments is extremely pleased the Environmental Review Document (Environmental Impact Assessment) for Covalent Lithium’s Earl Grey Lithium Project Revised Proposal has today been published for a 2-week public review period.  A copy of the Environmental Review Document can be accessed from:

In partnership with environmental consulting firm Strategen-JBS&G, Globe Environments has been working closely with Covalent Lithium to author this environmental assessment – which involves a minor expansion, plus multiple operational changes to the existing operations.  The Environmental Review Document incorporates >50 technical reports across the areas of flora and vegetation, terrestrial fauna, geochemical/geotechnical, wastes and emissions.

The Earl Grey Lithium Project is a ‘world-class’ mining operation – supplying battery-quality lithium to the world to assist with global de-carbonisation, and based on an old abandoned mine site which is largely already disturbed (substantially reduced environmental impacts).

We have greatly enjoyed our time working with the Covalent Lithium and Strategen-JBS&G teams, and looking forward to the completion of the environmental approvals process for this project.
